This class will be held just before the Area 1 USPSA match in Idaho Falls, ID June 23,24 2010. Students will spend two days in class, and then shoot the match (on the 25th) with the instructors coaching them through. (this is optional, not mandatory) Match fee is the responsibility of the student.

This is a fast-paced course with focus ranging from fundamental gun handling techniques to advanced concepts, such as match and stage preparation, shooting on the move, advanced gun handling, and explosive movement. Students will experience these drills under simulated match conditions and pressure. Taught by very specialized grandmasters this course will drill you over two intensive days to perform on demand. After the class, all the students will shoot the Area 1 match together as one squad. You will leave this course armed with the skill and technique, and a solid training plan that will allow you to run with the best!

Elements of training for high performance
Gear setup/adjustment
High performance gun manipulation techniques including key index points
Principles of dynamic and fluid movement
Match planning
Stage breakdown and performance preparation
Mental training secrets/ match pressure
Concepts of speed (and where to find it on a stage)
Gear and ammunition requirements:
Safe and serviceable SEMI-AUTO pistol that fits the criteria of any USPSA/IPSC/IDPA pistol division, and at LEAST 3 magazines (four if Single Stack)
Eye and ear protection
Belt, holster, and at least two magazine pouches (3 if single stack) that conform to USPSA/IPSC or IDPA criteria
1500 rounds of ammunition minimum (student's shooting pace will dictate actual rounds shot so they may shoot up to 1750 rounds in this course)
Baseball Style hat
Knee and elbow pads are optional
Mental training secrets/ match pressure
Basically just come to the match with your normal stuff and an extra 1500 rounds of ammo!
Students who exhibit unsafe behavior or fail to adhere to the USSA range and safety regulations will be warned, and then removed from class if they continue the unsafe behavior. Students removed from class will NOT receive a refund on their tuition.
