My Training Goal is.....

The Class/s we recommend.....

I am new, and I want to learn how to shoot

We have introduction courses for both the handgun and rifle, and we also have one that is for females only!  Click on one for more information:

I want to learn how to defend myself with a Handgun

This is where our academy really excels.  Our "fighting" handgun courses cover the entire spectrum of material that you will need to know to defend yourself.   Click a course for more information:
  • One day option classes include 510, 511, 512, 513, 514, 515, 516, 517, and 519.  They don't have to be taken in order after you have taken your entry courses which are 510 and 511 (unless you have taken 210, which counts too!)
  • Our multi day option courses are 210, 211, and 212.  These courses are 2 and 3 days in length, and cover the same material as the 500 series.
  • The week long intensive course is 214, and when you take it, you get all of our great handgun material in one course!  There is no entry course for the 214.
  • One additional course you may want to think about is the 240 (CQT) which covers extreme close quarters material, as well as some specialized material that will give you that last bit of preparation you need.
I want to learn how to defend myself with a Rifle or Shotgun

We have several courses that will do this for you.  All of these courses can be taken in any order, but we do suggest you take the 230 before the 231 course.  Check them out:
I want to learn or improve my competitive skills at matches

The instructors at USSA that teach the competitive courses are real world champions and national level shooters.  We offer several courses that will meet your needs.  Here are your options:
