What is the difference? When purchasing one of our well built highly customized guns, we often get that question, especially when a potential buyer is comparing prices. Here is how we answer it:

• Define Custom-
  First and foremost, a potential buyer must understand that our custom guns are truly "custom." Each one of them is built from individual parts that are hand fitted by a master gunsmith with more than 25 years of experience, and arguably the best 1911/2011 gunsmith in the world, Kevin Toothman. Parts are not parts. Kevin uses only the best from certain manufacturers to create a firearm that is more than the sum of its parts.

• Perfect fit and function-
  Fit and function are our primary concern when building a custom gun to the exact specifications outlined by the client. For this reason, our guns work when you need them to, all the time every time! Our guns are fit with exact tolerances and because of this, they last far longer. Most guns will be scrap metal after 50,000 rounds, yet the fit and feel of a USSA custom gun at those numbers will seem almost new!

• Tested to the max-
  We absolutely refuse to sell a product that is not tested to our specifications. What does this mean to us? It means that we run our guns, and run them hard. We mistreat them, try to break them, and try to make them fail. We shoot them at matches, we carry them for self protection, and our world class instructors teach with them. Simply put, if they don't pass our torture test, we won't sell them to you. Trust us, our guns work!
