Thanks for your interest in the 2010 USSA Pro-Am Championship brought to you by the US Shooting Academy and Phil Strader. Once again, US Shooting Academy will be the venue for this year's match. This was the 3rd Pro-Am, and the largest by far. This event is the most fun you'll ever have shooting a pistol. It's a shooter friendly match, organized and officiated by shooters. We know what you want, and you get it here! Below are some details about what the match is all about.

The Match:   Competitors can shoot on Friday (shot with RO's & Staff), Saturday, or Sunday. The entire match will be shot in half-day formats. Limited competitors will shoot from 7:30am – 12:00pm, and Open from 1:00pm – 5:30pm. Remember, you can shoot BOTH matches! You can spread your competition over 2 days, or test your resolve in one FULL day. Pros registered for both must shoot all day on Sunday together in the same squad(s). Scoring will be based on the total number of targets knocked down after any applicable penalties. CLICK HERE for complete Pro-Am scoring rules.

Equipment will be based on USPSA or IDPA rules. Limited guns will be firearms legal in Limited/Production/SSP/ESP/CDP. Open pistols will be just that! CLICK HERE for complete Pro-Am equipment rules.

Registration & Hotels:   Registration will take place in the main lodge's great room. You must complete registration before shooting the match. You will receive a matchbook, shooter's bag, and ONE SCORESHEET for each match you've registered for. You will also be required to sign a USSA hold harmless agreement.

Directions:   USSA is located directly across from the Tulsa Police Academy on Academy Drive. Please enter through the marked gate on your left. Detailed directions can be found here.
     
Scores:   You will be issued ONE score sheet. Upon arrival to your first stage, you will turn your score sheet into the range officer. You will be allowed to confirm the correct stage score, and then you and the RO will initial the sheet. A match official will designate someone on your squad to take the initialed sheets to the next stage. When you have confirmed your LAST stage score, you will be given a copy of the sheet for your records. Any tampering with scores will result in an immediate match disqualification!

Prize Table:   The awards ceremony will be held Sunday, July 18th in the main lodge shortly after the final results have been posted, reviewed, and confirmed.

Only amateurs will be eligible to visit the prize table. The prizes will be awarded by order of finish within their class, depending on the number of shooters in that class.

The order of visit to the table will be:
  • Amateur champion
  • 1st GM through D
  • 2nd GM through D
  • 3rd GM through D
  • Etc.

Below are the numbers needed to recognize places within classes:

  • 1st – Minimum of 3 in class
  • 2nd – Minimum of 7 in class
  • 3rd – Minimum of 11 in class
  • 4th – Minimum of 15 in class
  • 5th – 19 or more

After class awards are finished, overall order of finish will be used for the remainder of competitors (minus the previous class winners). The higher of your USPSA or IDPA classifications will be used to determine your Pro-Am classification. CLICK HERE for complete Pro-Am prize rules.

     
Shirts:   There will be a limited number of match T-shirts and other USSA apparel available for sale in the main lodge during registration. These will not last long, so act quickly! There will be additional apparel and supplies available at the USSA Pro Shop in the main lodge.
     
Lunch:   There will be food available for purchase at the range from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. There will also be Gatorade and other refreshments made available. We will ensure that there is plenty of shade and water on each stage.
     
Parking:   Parking will only be allowed in marked designated parking areas. Parking on the ranges will not be allowed. RO and vendor parking will be made available in pre-approved spaces. Any vehicles not parked in authorized spaces will be removed at owner's expense.
