Work on NRA’s Marksmanship Qualification Program and test your skills while getting in some training at the same time.
You do not need to be an NRA member to participate.
Upon successful completion of each level: Pro-Marksman, Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert and Distinguished Expert, a certificate is awarded.
Each level must be completed before advancing to the next.
COST: $25, this covers your range fee, targets and certification when qualified.
Time: 1-2 hours
Class size is limited to 5 students

FIREARM: Any pistol may be used, semi-automatic or revolver, and all calibers can compete together.

Requirements for Pro-Marksman Pistol are as follows:
Phase 1:
Shooter will be shooting from the Benchrest position with 2 hands, strong side.
Range is 15’ and the targets are 9” paper plates. There is no time limit, and you must shoot 10 plates each with 5 shots inside the black ring to pass.
Plates do not have to be shot in succession or the same day.
Ammunition: 50 rounds minimum
Phase 2:
Shooter will be shooting from the Benchrest position; 2 handed from both the strong and weak side.
Shooter will fire 10 rounds from weak side and 10 rounds strong side.
Range is 15’ and the targets are 9” paper plates. There is no time limit, and the shots must be inside the black ring to pass.
All plates must be shot in same session/day.
Ammunition: 20 rounds minimum
